How special formats are handled

Animated GIF files use their first visible frame. SVG files are safely rasterised. HEIC and HEIF support is built into this package; TIFF, PSD and camera RAW will be added later with dedicated decoders.

Common questions

What happens to transparent areas?

JPG does not support transparency. The converter fills transparent pixels with the background colour you select before export.
